Knowledge · ADHD & Neurodivergence

ADHD and neurodivergence.
A nervous system that works differently.

ADHD is about far more than attention. In adults it often shows up in how energy, emotion and stress are regulated, and in how relationships are experienced.

Context

ADHD in adulthood

Many adults only recognise themselves later in life, after years of compensating, running on empty, or feeling somehow 'too much' or 'not enough'.

Neurodivergence describes differences in how a nervous system processes stimulation, attention and motivation. Not a deficit, but a distinct way of functioning with its own needs.

Connections

ADHD in everyday life

ADHD and emotion

Feelings often arrive faster and more intensely. That isn't weakness; it's part of how stimulation is processed.

ADHD and stress

Overwhelm tends to arise where the environment and the nervous system simply don't fit.

ADHD and relationships

Differences in attention and energy are easily mistaken for disinterest, when different needs are actually at play.

Support

ADHD support and guidance

Our work isn't about fitting in. It's about understanding how you function and finding structures that genuinely hold.

I don't provide diagnoses. Support is available whether or not you have one.
